Our History In the early 1960's students and community residents felt called to establish a Mennonite church in Champaign-Urbana. From its beginning in 1964, First Mennonite Church desired to witness reconcilitation, Christ's love, social justice, and non-violence to the Champaign-Urbana community. It also sought to be welcoming to people of all races and socioeconomic backgrounds. |
